Why is money so powerful? How come the influence of these wads of paper that burn and rip as easily as anything else, have so much control over what we do and how we want to do things? Tons of people say that love is more important then money, that you can survive off love, what bull shit. Nobody can go to wal-mart and buy clothes or food with love, you can't be like, "If you give me that loaf of whole wheat multi grain bread, I'll give you some of my love, 'cause y'know, I got lots to give."
Everything is tested when money problems arise, people act as if they were under some spell when trying to get their money. It's exceptionally depressing to know that my parents, my grand parents, and so on, have worked them selves to their own damn graves in search of more money. It's not the idea of getting more money that I am obsessed with, it's the idea that because of wads of paper, imprinted with cold hard faces of people we never knew and never will know, men die, women die, people are enslaved and entire nations slaughtered. The world is ruined because of money, there is absolutely undeniable proof that we can run vehicles and the like with zero emissions, but not enough money is going into the research. Major industries would rather ride the oil and gas train to the very brink of destruction, then to see their company lose its business because of some stupid hydrogen fuel cell shit.
And probably the worst part of all this is that although my views on money and how it affects people is certainly set in stone, I will continue on using money. When I have no money, I will work for it and I will continue to spend. I will continue to feed the never-ending, never satisfied chain that we call the market. I have no choice, anybody that wishes to survive has no choice. You are nothing without money, nothing can be done without money, nothing can be achieved without money; money money money money money money money money.
